Pressure Screen

Closed Pressure Screens

Closed pressure screens are designed for screening nodes in stock preparation lines, offering high performance, excellent screening efficiency, minimal fiber loss in rejects, and low demands on erection, maintenance, and servicing.

Applications

  • Stock Preparation Lines Processing Waste Paper:

    • Used in primary coarse screening nodes with bored screens.
    • Employed in final fine screening nodes to remove the finest particles, plastic foils, and stickies using slotted screens.
    • Utilized for stock fractionation by finer length.
  • Pulp Mills:

    • Used in final screening stages to finely screen bleached and unbleached chemical pulp.
    • Effective in catching small knots, bark, and non-fibrous admixtures.
  • Groundwood Plants:

    • Used in final screening stages to finely screen matchwood.

Design Features

  • Compact and Closed Design: Features a vertical screen wiped from inside by a turning rotor.
  • Inflow and Outflow: The inflow duct and ducts discharging light and heavy impurities are connected tangentially, while the accept outflow duct is of a radial type.
  • Special Lids (Type L): Equipped for effective stock deaeration and screening of the lightest impurities.

Main Parts

  1. Machine Body (1): Houses the vertical cylindrical screen.
  2. Vertical Cylindrical Screen (2): The primary screening component.
  3. Inflow Part (3): Includes a heavy trash separator.
  4. Outflow Part (4): Manages the discharge of screened materials.
  5. Lid (5): Special design for deaeration and impurity screening.
  6. Rotor (6): Turns inside the screen to wipe it clean.
  7. Frame with Belt Drive (7): Supports and drives the screen mechanism.
  8. Electric Motor (8): Powers the rotor and screen.

Material

  • All parts in contact with the stock are made of stainless steel.
  • Other machine parts are made of common coated structural materials.

Advantages

  • Robust Design: Durable and reliable.
  • Resistance to Clogging: High resistance against screen clogging.
  • High Capacity and Efficiency: Excellent hydraulic capacity and screening efficiency.
  • Reliable Operation: Ensures consistent and dependable performance.
  • Ease of Maintenance: Easy screen and rotor changes.
  • Long Lifespan: Designed for durability.
  • Low-Pulsation Rotor: Minimizes pulsations during operation.
  • Convenient Dismantling: Bearing body can be dismantled without removing the belt pulley.
  • User-Friendly: Easy to operate and maintain.

Technical Specifications

  • Stock Deaeration: Equipped with special lids for effective deaeration.
  • Screening Impurities: Capable of screening the lightest impurities effectively.

These features make closed pressure screens ideal for various applications in stock preparation and pulp processing lines, ensuring high efficiency, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
